This PDO aged balsamic vinegar is produced in Emilia Romagna. A dark syrupy texture with slightly sweet and acidic flavours. Great for salad dressing and cooking.
Dell’Ami balsamic vinegar is made by one of the oldest DOP producers in Emilia Romagna. The vinegar is naturally fermented and traditionally aged in oak, cherry, chestnut and juniper barrels. Aromatic notes from the aged wooden casks define this intense, full flavoured vinegar.
The slow ageing process allows for the rich, slightly sweet yet noticeably acidic aroma to develop with a syrupy density to this dark, glossy vinegar.
Prep & Usage
The pleasures of the table are drops of Balsamic vinegar on slivers of Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, or a salad dressing with extra virgin olive oil. Also fantastic on strawberries or ice cream. Try as part of a marinade for meats.
