Mrs Mains Brinklow Apple Cider Vinegar (with “the mother”) 250ml
The Apple Cider Vinegar is made on Mrs Mains farm in Brinklow, it is a 3 year process starting with pure organic Apple Juice which is put into Oak Barrels and left for 12 months to ferment into cider. After 12 months the cider is tapped off into smaller barrels and “the mother” is added from previous years vinegar, this is then left for a further 18 months before bottling.
“The Mother” is a naturally produced strand of protein, Rich in healthy bacteria and acetic acid.
You will see “the mother” floating in the vinegar as strands.
Our Cider Vinegar is raw unfiltered and free from additives and preservatives. It is also suitable for Vegans and is Gluten Free.
To use as a daily tonic drink:
Put 2 teaspoons of vinegar in half a glass of warm water, and drink at night, for a sweeter taste you can add a teaspoon of honey.
